Drumrunie
A Section 7 Control Agreement was established with the Assynt Foundation in March 2006. The purpose of this agreement is to prevent damage to Natura Qualifying oakwoods.
DCS carried out a census at Drumrunie in April 2004 which showed an estimated density of 8 deer per km2 at the site.
DCS have now gathered information on the profile of existing woodlands to aid and inform the setting of habitat targets for the site.
