Creag Meagaidh SSSI
The Creag Meagaidh SSSI lies within the Monadhliath DMG area on the north side of Loch Laggan.
The Creag Meagaidh SSSI became a DCS Site for Assessment in 2002 on account of concerns about the impact of deer on blanket bog habitats. DCS has met with owners and occupiers and SNH carried out a baseline survey of blanket bog habitats in 2005.
